Heliox Films is Pierre-François Decouflé Tv production workshop based in Paris and mostly active in performing arts and documentaries. Its main broadcast partners are Arte France, Canal Plus, France Télévisions, Medici, Mezzo, Unitel.

Heliox Films produces fifteen performing arts programmes each year, from single concerts, operas, plays, ballets to complete cycles (Beethoven, Schubert, Brahms, Britten,…), from one-time crushes to years long running projects, from major Europeans opera stages to jazz punk clubs, on all classical and contemporary repertories.

Camille Saint-Saëns an historical biopic by David Unger with Arte (2021), Les Sauvages, a cultural documentary by Adeline Moreau with France Télévisions (2021), Vivaldis, a dance film by Philippe Decouflé (2019), Les Défricheurs, societal documentary film about the university career of young people of Saint-Denis, Parisian suburb, followed for three years by Fabien Truong and Mathieu Vadepied, with France 3 (2019) ; All or nothing, cultural documentary film by Chloé Perlemuter about the female quartet Akilone, who had to replace her violist. In 2005, this TV movie reached a 22 % market share on France 3 against a qualifying match of the French football team…


Awarded as « best French television producer » in 1995, Pierre-François Decouflé was in 1985 co-founder and managing director of GEDEON, one of the leading producers of corporate films, advertising, clips and short programs, also ranked among the worldwide top 5 TV design agencies (on-air design and antenna marketing) with customers all over the world. Pierre-François then took part in the creation of the parliamentary channel, now LCP and Public Sénat, was director of the BPS, first VOD service of France Télévisions, expert attached to the scientific research of the European commission, Strategic planner for the French public Swiss Television (TSR) before returning to his own business with Heliox Films. Pierre-François is an historian by training (Paris I) and a graduate of Science Po Paris.
